The BMW Performance air intake system provides the engine with the optimum amount of air, ensuring the cylinders are evenly filled. The result is more power, more torque and more responsiveness.

All the parts are made from high-quality injection-moulded plastic to ensure BMW quality, durability and optimum heat resistance.

The BMW Performance air intake system has no effect on the vehicle's emissions. An EU homologation was granted in May 2008, and this covers use of the system on models manufactured from September 2008 onwards.

Modified primary air intake in carbon, with enlarged diameter and "BMW Performance" lettering.

Modified cover for air filter housing

Secondary air intake

Special air filter element
